See below to find out about The Women’s Fire.
As September arrives and the leaves begin to turn, the Earth's cycles guide us toward the quieter seasons ahead. We invite you to gather in sisterhood during this time of transformation. In nature, this is a season of celebration and harvest; similarly, as we come together, we will feast on the fruits of our lessons learned and the inner growth we have experienced throughout the year.
Here, in the wild embrace of Dartmoor, we will laugh, share, dream, and remember our vibrant wild selves.
“I love being apart of The Women’s Fire. There are few spaces in everyday life where I feel as safe and supported by a group of women. Gratitude fills me when I remember I have this amazing and diverse group of women that are a solid pillar of welcoming and support beside me in life.”

The Women’s Fire
Our year-long membership connects regularly online. This is our opportunity to be in the same room, or around an actual fire, with the people who have become so dear.
Members are the heartbeat of this gathering. In addition to sessions led by Alana, Gaia, and Faye this is an opportunity for you to step into leadership, sharing your gifts and wisdom with each other. Whether you feel called to guide a ceremony, teach a skill, or offer a healing practice, this is a space where your unique medicine is welcomed and valued. There is no expectation for anything grand, so don’t let this put you off coming. It could be as simple as arranging a book swap or organising a walk on the land.
We are also opening our circle to new members who feel called to join The Women's Fire at this time. If you have been following our journey and yearning to step into a community of wild-hearted women, this gathering is a beautiful opportunity to connect with kindred spirits and experience the transformative power of our work firsthand.
Faye will be on hand to guide new members in integrating into our sisterhood and understanding the rhythms and rituals of our community.
What to Expect
From the first evening to the last, we offer a space to unlock and let go. A place where you feel seen, held and celebrated in your wildness..
As we gather together, we offer sharing circles, ecstatic dance, movement practices, bedtime stories around the fire, nature connection and so much more. You will leave feeling that your inner fire has been reignited and aglow, ready to illuminate the winter ahead.
Ecstatic Dance of the Archetypes
Embody the wild, wise, and untamed aspects of your feminine nature through a guided dance journey. Move, express, and release as you connect with the power.
Nature Connection
Tune into the more-than-human world and let yourself become entangled with moss, tree, river and gorse. Connect with the natural power of Dartmoor as a mirror to remembering yourself as part of the living world.
Fire Side Storytelling
Gather around the flickering flames under the stars, sharing stories, songs, and poems that weave the tapestry of our collective wisdom and experience.
Sharing circles
Through authenticity and vulnerability we build deep intimacy and a safe container where we can learn the power of compassion for ourselves and others.
Member-Led Offerings
Step into leadership and share your unique gifts with the circle. Offer a workshop, guide a ceremony, or facilitate an experience. A place for experimentation and sharing from the heart.
Walks to the Tor
Journey on foot through forests, over giant stepping stones to the ancient stone spiral on top of the tor.
“This was everything I expected and more, it was so well organised and flowed from one beautiful ceremony to the next. It was facilitated in a way that was deeply healing and felt like the most open and wonderful space to share without judgment. I'm so grateful to have been able to take part in this retreat so thank you again for creating such a magical space for women to come together and heal. Such a powerful community.”

Retreat Highlights and Ceremonies
Fire Ceremony
A place to share stories, myths and prayers. This will be the culmination of our time together and and opportunity to share our offerings. These may come in the form of songs, poems, a performance or something more abstract! This will be a space to reflect on our journey together and offer anything that we wish to leave behind us, using the transformative qualities of the fire to alchemise our prayers.
Opportunity for Co-Creation
Whether you feel inspired to lead a ceremony, share a skill, or provide a healing practice, this is a space where your unique gifts are welcomed and appreciated. There is no expectation for anything elaborate, so don’t let that deter you from joining us. Your contribution can be as simple as organizing a book swap or arranging a walk on the land.
Dance of the Archetypes
Working with the gorgeous medicine of cacao (raw chocolate) this session will take you on a journey through 5 major feminine archetypes: Maiden, Warrior, Lover Queen and Priestess. This session is all about freedom, creativity, expression and enjoying the pleasure of being in our bodies.
Harvesting Celebrations
During Autumn we can celebrate the lessons learnt, the magic that has been manifested and the journey travelled. Coming together we will intentionally celebrate and cheer each other on for the ‘fruit’ that has grown in our lives after planting our seeds of desire earlier in the year.
Hot Tub and Sauna
Between connecting to each other and our wild selves, there will be plenty of time to relax and restore in the Hot Tub and Sauna! It's a real treat.
Wild Swimming
We are very lucky to be surrounded by hills, forest and a river at the edge of the land. Wild swimming and nature connection will be a strong feature throughout the weekend.

Venue
Brimpts Farm lies literally at the heart of Dartmoor.
It is surrounded by both farmland and wilderness, with ancient monuments and river spots right on the doorstep, camping hot tubs and sauna and a large hall space.
We love a morning stroll down to the river Dart for a cold water dip or a silent walk through the local forest and up to the nearby Tor. This location is ideal for this retreat with the land supporting participants to deepen and integrate the insights that emerge through the work.

Alana Bloom is an artist, facilitator and activist. She works with ritual, embodiment and many practices inspired by her theatre & dance training. With her background and interests in deep nature connection, grief, archetypes and rites of passage, she supports people to remember our innate belonging, wildness and wholeness. "She lives and breathes what she teaches, she shares from her inner well of lived experience" - Emma Ashru Jones, Coach and Facilitator
‘Her mixture of skill, authentic expression, intuition and pure feminine power as a facilitator, ritualist and artist have empowered, inspired and catalysed my own authentic creative expression.’ - Julianne Mueller, Founder Sex Club
Faye Gould is an advocate of women's empowerment and a mother of three. Over two decades, she has worked with various charities focusing on domestic violence, survivors of modern slavery and female homelessness.
In 2022, she spent 40 days wild camping on Dartmoor to explore what it means to embrace her inner wild woman and is now writing a book about the experience.
Currently, Faye works with True Nature as the Communication and Community Manager, supporting retreats and leading online gatherings for women. Through True Nature, Faye continues to inspire and empower women, guiding them to reclaim their strength, freedom, and inner wildness.
"Faye always holds a safe and loving space to explore the depths of our souls. It's one of the only places I have in my life to truly be myself - with no expectations, limitations, or judgment.”
Gaia Harvey Jackson is a workshop facilitator and artist creating spaces for deep transformation and specialising in women's empowerment. She runs the courses, retreats and training programmes for women.
Gaia is passionate about the revival of ritual and works with communities to co-create ceremonies around the world, helping people to mark significant moments, move through challenges, and celebrate life. Her work combines elements of theatre games, voice work, meditation, dance and ritual, creating safe and playful environments where people can authentically connect and release.
“Gaia always holds a safe and loving space to explore the depths of our souls. It's one of the only places I have in my life to truly be myself - no expectations, limitations or judgement.”
Ticket Policy
£200 of your ticket is non-refundable. This is to cover any admin costs if you choose to cancel and to support participants to be sure they can attend before purchasing a ticket. If we manage to find someone to fill your spot we can transfer your ticket to another retreat.
We do not offer the 10% membership discount on our retreats. This is because our overheads are so high, and a 10% discount on an event with a high ticket value has a huge affect on our overall budget.
We cannot offer any refunds if you decide not to attend within 10 days of the retreat start date. With such short notice we are usually unable to fill your spot. If we (or you) do manage to find someone to fill your spot we can transfer your ticket to another retreat.
Please be sure that you are able to attend the whole retreat before booking. We request that participants join with the intention of staying until the end of the retreat unless this has been discussed and arranged with us before booking your ticket and prior to the start of the retreat.
